I hear ya. I go back and forth but I'd say I'm agnostic. I lean more towards believe in a god or gods than not. I wouldn't dare rule His existence out.

Oh, Annie, you're missing out on so much! There really IS a God and He loves us all. He is saddened when we forget Him, just like you would be if Lauren or Andrew or Jacob decided to forget about you. BUT He gave you your free agency to choose what you wanted to do. Sadly, you don't get to choose the consequences. God is VERY real and VERY loving. I know you haven't exactly been taught that, but it's true.

You're right! I hadn't even thought about Ms. Lady and her confirming it really is me. I thought it was odd and didn't like the fact that she asked for a copy of my ID in the first place. I'm sure the bank has that on file somewhere. Why didn't they just get the copy from them? What really gets me is how the bank just closed my account without any explanation or investigation.

Lil Bytes, I'm so happy you were able to find some good out of this whole nightmare! You're landlord is absolutely awesome and considering you have no prior track record with him I might even go so far to say he is a Godsend.
None of this banking business makes any sense (I'm sure I don't need to tell you that) but the fact that Ms. Lady wants you to send her id is probably the most outlandish part of it all. It's not like she can see you to confirm that the correct person is faxing the documentation. If someone were trying to steal your identity they might also have access to all that paper work anyway. Most identity theft is done by someone you know, so EWS is totally off their rocker.

This is a really interesting post, and a very good point. I like the way you have précised former funeral customs and juxtaposed them with Santorum's reaction to his son's death (which isn't odd at all in my opinion, yes, the other children were only under 10, but they're going to be exposed to the reality of death anyway, and this way it happens, hopefully, in a loving and caring environment.) Thank you for this insightful writing.

Annie, I usually don't have much time to read my emails anymore but I decided to read some tonight. This one caught my eye and I'm glad it did. I LOVE the Adobe' one! That is some awesome marketing going on there. The road trip songs -- not so much! It got really old really fast, but then, I'm old, too, so chalk it up to that, okay? I have always respected Martin Luther King, Jr. The older I get and the more I learn about him outside of the news media, the better I like and respect him. LOVE the one about the books (I LOVE to read) and have a huge stack of books near my bed that I plan on reading -- make that SAVORING -- this year. And there is no one who can sing like Otis Redding except Otis Redding. My favorite by him is "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay". He has a voice like brown velvet. Great videos! Thanks for sharing them.

I have some of her cook books. I have found I can change things i feel are way to unhealthy for us. I took this entire thing as weird. It's like my chicken mcnugget addiction. McDs has never shoved them down my throat. It's me. I have a choice. Her personality cracks me up. So i watch her show every now and then. But I get most of her recipes online.
